Lexie's 5th Birthday!

Lexie celebrated her 5th Birthday with a pool party. She had some friends over to swim and have cake. She chose a 3-tier Tinkerbell cake. One layer was vanilla w/chocolate brill filling, one was chocolate with chocolate fudge filling and one was funfetti cake with cherry kool-aid frosting filling. It turned out very yummy. She was very happy with it as were her friends. She had a great birthday. She picked BJ's Restaurant for her b-day dinner and got a free pizookie (choco chip cookie baked in a round pan and served warm with ice cream over it)Delicious!!! She got a barbie, polly pockets, makeup, a potty time baby, and other fun stuff. What a blast!

Chase's 9th Birthday!

Chase's 9th Birthday was a swim party at our house. He had a few friends over to swim and play baseball and then 4 of them stayed the night. He requested ice cream cone cupcakes with bubble gum frosting! Yum! He got a lot of money and bought a Nintendo DSi and a few games. He had a great time. He had also gone to an A's baseball game with Steve earlier in the week. For his birthday dinner we went to Chili's (shocker!!).

Ciara's in Oklahoma

Ciara left on June 2nd to go to Oklahoma to visit my parents (her Nana & Papa) and my sister/her boyfriend and my brother. We miss her so much already. She is scheduled to fly home on July 8th. Can't wait to have her back again. Everyone really misses her around here.
She is having a blast out there. She is riding horses everyday and helping around the ranches. The animals really love having her around too as she pays a lot of attention to them since she doesn't have any one to play with! Here are some pics...

Lexie's Preschool Graduation

Lexie had a great year of Preschool at Lighthouse Preschool. She "graduated" on Thursday evening. They had a ceremony and then a family BBQ. It was very fun. Lexie has really enjoyed going to Preschool and was sad on her last day. She said she will miss her friends and teachers. She is also very excited to start Kindergarten in August. She is already asking if she goes to Kinder next week! It's going to be a long summer!! We are so proud of her.

Chase's Baseball

Chase's baseball team had a great year. Chase did awesome. He moved up this year to play in the 10 & U kid pitch league and he really showed he could do it. He played third base and usually batted third, fourth of fifth. He got two home runs this year and did awesome at bat. He can really rope the ball! His team came in second in their end-of-the-season tournament. It was a really close game.

Softball Champions

Ciara's team, that I coached, won first place in the end-of-the-season tournament. I always knew my team had it in them and they sure stepped up to show it. They played 3 awesome games to win. We played two games back-to-back on Saturday when it was over 100 degrees and they fought through the heat. They were hitting and making good plays. My pitcher rocked it. She really did a phenomenal job. What fun!! It was a very busy season but I already miss it!

Mom's Visit

My mom came out from Oklahoma for a week to visit and celebrate my birthday. We were very busy visiting and going to softball/baseball games. The kids love getting to show Nana everything we do. She even went as Lexie's "show & tell". Lexie got stage fright and decided not to talk but Nana told the kids about her home and horses. It went so fast and I hate that she's gone already. To Mom: I Miss You!

Baseball and Softball

It's Baseball and Softball season. We have been so busy this season. Chase is playing on 10&U (kid pitch). His team is the Orioles. He plays 3rd base. He is doing fantastic. Lexie is playing t-ball and her team is the Red Hot Allstars. Ciara is playing 10&U softball and her team is the Stealers. Ciara plays 1st base and occasionally pitches. She is doing great. I am coaching both Lexie and Ciara. I am really enjoying it. It keeps us very, very busy though. We are finally in our last week of games and what a week it will be. Someone plays every night this week and Saturday. Most nights two play at the same time and Steve works the late train so he doesn't get home until after 9pm. CRAZY! Anyway, here are some pics of this year. Ciara playing 1st.Cici at bat.

Ciara's 11th Birthday

Ciara celebrated her 11th birthday with 3 different events. Crazy, yes! We started on Friday, April 10th having lunch with the Jordet family at Chuck E Cheese. Liesa and I met on New Years Eve when our girls were just 8/9 months old. We have been friends since then.

Ciara and Tristan

The second celebration was on Sunday, April 12th (Easter), we went to Steve's cousins house in Ben Lomond (Santa Cruz Mountains). We had a great time visiting and then eating cupcakes with Cici.

Ciara and London

Then on April 13th Ciara had 7 friends over for a cheese fondue dinner and chocolate fondue dessert and sleepover.
